Teens & Tweens Woodland Session with Wilder

We're delighted to team up with the amazing Diane from Wilder Outdoor Education for a Teens & Tweens Woodland Session!

What to expect:

A welcoming space where you can choose how you want to be with the group Large group tarp shelter if wet weather Plenty of hammocks to relax or play in Slackline -test out your balance skills Tools for simple woodcraft Fire safety and firelighting Help yourself bag - assortment of magnifiers, measuring tapes, binoculars, ID sheets Nature crafts Knot skills and ropes Warm drinks / snack

Toilet facilities - we have a toilet tent with a sit on folding toilet. We use popaloo biodegradeable toilet bags that have an eco friendly powder to solidify any waste material and make it safe for disposal in domestic bins. There will be a hygiene box with toilet paper and handwashing facilities are available at the central gathering area.

Refreshments - we will bring large insulated flasks so that you can enjoy a tea, coffee, hot chocolate or squash. Snacks will be available but you are welcome to bring your own if you'd prefer. If appropriate, children are encouraged to help make and serve drinks for the group.

Please come prepared for the weather: WATERPROOF JACKET/TROUSERS/WELLIES ARE ESSENTIAL FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS. (Wilder have a stock of age 7-8/9-10/11-12 and 13 year old waterproof sets). WEAR WARM LAYERS and BRING A HAT AND GLOVES CONTACT WILDER IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL DIETRARY NEEDS (at least 24 hours notice please) PARENTS/CARERS WILL HAVE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CHILDREN. WILDER's ROLE IS TO SUPPORT AND FACILITATE PLAY.
